Ch. 13: TreacheryRouge took wing, her battle-scarred wings spread wide, seeming to suffocate the land beneath her. She smirked, and flew after the pair.   
Meanwhile, Knuckles and Sonic were discussing battle plans.   
“Well, I think we should kill all inhabitants of the colony, and then rescue Tails!” Knuckles suggested.   
“No, don’t think violent, Knuckles, we should let all the inhabitants of the colony go except Shadow, he’s too guilty.” Sonic replied.   
“I think you’re wrong, Sonic. All shall die in this rescue, and only we shall live!” The echidna growled.    Ch. 13: Treachery

Forgotten Ch. 12: ReturnSonic continued running as the lighting threatened to burn off his fur entirely.  
 
“What’d I do?!” He screamed at the lightning.   
The lightning flashed again, this time closer to Sonic, thunder roaring above him in a drizzle of rain, thunder, and lightning.   
“Leave me alone!” Sonic screamed. “Tails is gone, Knuckles is gone, who’s next?!”   
The lighting flashed again in an echidna form.   
“I know! Knuckles has died! Tails killed him!” The angry and drenched hedgehog screamed.

Forgotten Ch. 11: A supriseTails was still lying in Sonic’s lap, eyes shut, not feeling any anger yet. Maybe Shadow has given up on me. I’m not getting angry at all. His eyes snapped open. They were blood-red and his tails puffed up. “Sonic, you betrayed me! How could you?” the fox hissed.  
 
Sonic backed up. “Tails, Shadow’s messing with you! I came, I promised you...” The hedgehog stammered. “Learn how to control your emotions of anger!” His emerald-green eyes stared into the fox’s blood-red eyes, hoping that they would transform into his real water-blue eyes. Sonic Middle School Ch. 2“Hey, Knuckles, aren’t you going to stop looking at the street?” Shadow asked. Knuckles looked up, but too late to realize that he would crash into a wall. With a loud crash, Knuckles hit the wall. Shadow laughed, and left Knuckles next to the wall. “Ouch.” Knuckles complained. Rouge picked up Knuckles’ and helped him stand again. “Thanks, but I could have done it myself.” Knuckles growled, dusting himself off.   
Tails jumped into the car and buckled his seatbelt.  “So, dad…” Tails began.   
“Yes, Miles?” his father asked.
